Finesse of the Belgian Chocolate

The famous Belgian chocolate is called the praline and the ballotin. Right from the time that chocolate has existed, it has always been considered an ideal gift in Belgium. In the beginning of the last century the ‘praline’ was made by the Belgian confectionery. It is a filled Belgian chocolate which complied with the idea of chocolate being the ideal gift.

The praline is quite delicate and in order to protect it in each box it required adequate packaging. This packaging for Belgian chocolate was patented under the name of Ballotin. Since then a perfect gift for all circumstances is the ballotin de pralines.

What is the Best Chocolate Dessert?

In my life I have had all sorts of desserts, so picking the best chocolate dessert should be easy. Well I am here to tell you that it is not. There are so many great ones out there that picking the best chocolate dessert is almost impossible. In order to do this a couple of limitations on what is considered a chocolate dessert will have to be made. The world’s best chocolate fudge, while delicious no doubt, probably should not be considered as the best chocolate dessert.

Limitations on What Can be Considered as the Best Chocolate Dessert

I would say the first things to eliminate are any desserts that do not feature the chocolate as the main ingredient. This should cut down significantly on the number of desserts to consider. Chocolate is frequently used to accentuate the other things in the dessert. Chocolate sauce with cheesecakes, ice cream, and other things does not really feature the chocolate so those are out for the best chocolate fudge. In order to be considered a dessert does not have to be wholly made from chocolate, but it should be the focus of the dish.
